NEPAL. Kingdom of Kathmandu. Pratap Malla, 1641-1674. Mohur NS 775 = 1655 (Silver, 25 mm, 5.52 g). A trident between the mirror image of ‘sana-ye  elāhi’ (‘divine year’ in Persian); in three lines, ‘śrī śrī / Kavī/ndra Jaya’ (‘Lord Lord Kavindra Jaya’ in Newar); all within a circle surrounded by a beaded border. Rev. ‘Jahāngir Shāh’ (‘Jahangir Shah’ in Persian); in three lines, ‘Pratā/pa Malla / 775’ (‘Pratapa Malla 775’ in Newar); floral background with rosettes; all within a circle surrounded by an ornamental border. KM 164. Minor corrosion at the edge and the reverse struck from a slightly worn die, otherwise, about extremely fine.
